Job Description/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with the preparation of data sets for regulatory submissionÂ
- Experience analyzing, updating, and formalizing Data Use Agreements (DUAs) or Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) for intra and inter agency public health use cases Â
- Experience supporting legal agreements definition and developments, including gap analysis and agreement negotiationsÂ
- Knowledge of regulations, requirements, and guidance associated with public health data standards Â
- Knowledge of data lifecycle principals and methodologiesÂ
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsÂ
- Bachelor’s degreeÂ

- Experience with data transmission standards, including HL7 and FHIR, ensuring effective data exchangeÂ
- Experience with data standards governanceÂ
- Experience with the CDC’s Data Modernization InitiativeÂ
- Experience with CDC data policies and standards inclusive of data authority, interoperability, and modernizationÂ
- Experience with multiple data catalogs such as Alation and ClouderaÂ
