Job Summary
Provide expertise in the engineering design, development, direction, and implementation of enterprise network cyber defense capabilities. Understand the fundamentals of layered defense and zero trust technologies and processes, and understand the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation. Provide knowledge of computer network theory and understand IT standards and Cyber Security Tool's architectures, including the OSI model and the methods of exploiting those standards. Support technical work activities using experience with the utilization, configuration, and implementation of industry-standard cyber defense capabilities, including web content filters, email security capabilities, IDS, IPS, HBSS, SEIM, DNS security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network flow analysis, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls, anti-virus capabilities, Linux and UNIX command line, and access control lists.

- DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level III Certification, including CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cyber Security Service Provider - Infrastructure Support (CSSP-IS) Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND within 30 days of hire
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with data classification standards, including controls in government environments and classified data handling
- Experience with defining security requirements, security assessments, and security recommendations using industry standards as reference models
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, frameworks, and implementation strategies
- Knowledge of Agile, ITSM, DevSecOps, and Change Management Processes
- Knowledge of IaC and CaC, CI and CD, AI and ML, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle concepts
- Possession of excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Forrester Zero Trust Certification
