Country Manager

Your responsibilities

• Management
  • Recruit, train and then manage local teams in order to implement or develop activities.
  • Establish the pace of work in your country with method and discipline by clearly defining the routines of all teams.
  • Convey our vision and our corporate culture on a daily basis to employees, in order to build a solid, united and motivated team to achieve our ambitious objectives.
  • Become an expert in each of Gozem's verticals and professions to be able to have the maximum impact in your country and set an example for your teams.

• Business Development
  • Develop strategic commercial partnerships likely to increase the volume of activities of Gozem's existing businesses.
  • Identify new growth levers for Gozem in the region and implement them by launching new business lines.
  • Adapt the business model to the different needs of cities throughout the country.

• Operations
  • Supervise the management team composed of Champion Operations Managers, Transport, Ecommerce, Partners, Sales, Financing, Support, Marketing, HR and city managers
  • Analyze the results of activities on a daily basis, identify the causes of these developments and direct the teams accordingly.
  • Understand the needs of application users, build and then maintain structured internal communication to ensure that ideas and recommendations regarding user acquisition, customer engagement and retention feed into future strategic initiatives and contribute to the evolution of Gozem.
  • Engage all global teams to adapt processes, settings and products from different verticals and functions to your local context.
  • With the group Legal Manager, ensure that Gozem's operations in your country comply with all laws
  • Manage crises that may arise following accidents, disasters, health crises, etc.

• Budget management
  • Validate with the management team the budgets for your Country which are defined by the directors of the different verticals and functions at the Global level
  • Monitor activity monthly to ensure budget turnover and profitability objectives are achieved

• Strategic Relations
  • Engage with various local partners: administrations, media, universities, etc. and represent Gozem's interests to them.
  • Engage with banks and various potential local investors to allow Gozem to raise debt locally to finance its business.

Your results to achieve:

• Improve employee retention and employee NPS
• GMV growth on all business lines (transport, e-commerce, financing)
• Increase in the number of active customers
• Increased number of active champions and active merchants
• Increased profitability

Profile

• Master or MBA level strongly recommended, not obligatory.
• 6 years of professional experience where you led complex projects, had a position of high responsibility and led teams of more than 30 people.
• Entrepreneurial DNA and experience in launching an entrepreneurial project (a plus)
• Experience in the tech industry, transport, ecommerce or in a start-up is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Languages ​​spoken fluently: French & English
• Mastery of the tools of the Google suite Mandatory (Docs, Sheets, Slide...) and mastery of digital with the use of smartphones, Android and IOS.
