This role will be responsible for the distribution of insurance solutions designed to the needs of corporate clients by building long term partnerships with businesses in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and acquire new corporate and private sector clients to grow the commercial insurance portfolio.
- Develop tailored insurance solutions for businesses in various industries, including property, liability, marine, and engineering.
- Create and implement strategies to retain existing clients and maximize renewal rates.
- Achieve business targets in terms of volumes, market share and profits across all business segments.
- Lead the negotiation of insurance contracts and terms with corporate clients and affluent individuals ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and clients.
- Responsible for implementing sales initiatives within the corporate space such as distribution strategy and channel management.
- Ensure satisfactory delivery timelines on quotation, new business, and renewals
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and intermediaries to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high client satisfaction
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess needs and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities. Insurance
- Solutions and Underwriting Support
- Provide input on pricing strategies and terms for complex or high-value accounts
- Advise clients on appropriate risk management practices and coverage options.
- Formulate & review training programs on products or other relevant refreshers for respective clients.
- Prepare and report regularly on performance of accounts, taking into consideration growth, profitability, and retention
- Market and Industry Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Prepare reports and presentations on market performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all corporate insurance activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- 4-8 years practical experience in B2B sales in the General insurance industry.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s Degree, ideally, in Marketing/Commerce or similar fields
- A recognized professional qualification in marketing (CIM) /insurance would be an advantage
