Position Summary
Vanzbon Group is looking for a Corporate Registration & Compliance Specialist to support our growing volume of client registrations and market-entry projects in Ghana.
This is a hands-on execution role, responsible for coordinating company setup, dealing with authorities, and supporting basic tax and regulatory compliance, while acting as a key local contact for our regional and HQ teams.
The role is ideal for professionals with experience in company registration, corporate services, or accounting/tax work in Ghana, who are comfortable working directly with authorities and communicating in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate company incorporation and changes with the Registrar-General’s Department (RGD) and other relevant registries.
- Support clients with tax registrations (e.g. TIN, corporate tax, VAT) and basic interactions with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
- Assist with documentation and processes for business operating licences, municipal permits, and other local approvals where required.
- Prepare, organise, and submit application files; track timelines and follow up proactively on pending cases with authorities and service providers.
- Clarify procedural steps, required documents, and applicable fees with government offices, banks, notaries, and other intermediaries.
- Support bank account opening and KYC processes by helping prepare documentation, coordinating meetings, and following up on requests.
- Summarise registration / compliance requirements into internal notes, checklists, or simple SOPs for future projects in Ghana.
- Maintain structured digital records of applications, approvals, contracts, and correspondence.
- Join regular coordination calls with regional and HQ teams in English, providing clear status updates and highlighting any risks or delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following in Ghana:
- corporate registration / corporate services,
- accounting/tax compliance, or
- legal/corporate admin roles dealing with authorities.
- Familiarity with procedures at the Registrar-General’s Department (RGD) and Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is highly valued.
- Exposure to tax registration, basic filings, or bank/KYC processes is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- High working proficiency in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Legally eligible to work in Ghana.
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on and execution-focused; willing to contact and visit authorities or banks to clarify procedures when needed.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility in managing tasks, timelines, and expectations.
- Ability to handle multiple registration and compliance files in parallel while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Clear written communication and confidence using online government portals and office productivity tools.
- Professional, discreet, and service-minded in dealing with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
