Job Summary
Serve as Assistant Site Security Manager, leveraging Construction Security Technicians (CST), Cleared American Guards (CAGs) and a Construction Security Plan (CSP) to identify threats and risks seeking to successfully protect the integrity of facilities throughout the life cycle of renovation and new construction projects as part of larger construction team while reporting to the Site Security Manger (SSM), Site Security Officer (SSO), and the lead Engineer Office. Serve as the backup point of contact in providing security support with respect to planning, scheduling, advising, and monitoring the construction surveillance program of the client. Perform a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of firm and government sensitive and classified information. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Assist SSM with minor modifications to Construction Security Plan (CSP) established and developed by SSM. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the security personnel, to follow while implementing the CSP Measures. Assist the SSM with documenting construction of the secure area and assisting SSM with preparing documentation for submission to the Site Security Office (SSO).

Job Description/Requirements
Nice To Have:
- 1+ years of experience working as a Special Security Officer (SSO), Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Special Security Representative (SSR), or Contractor Special Security Representative (CSSR)
- Knowledge of DOD manuals, instructions, regulations, guidelines, and ICDs pertaining to national security programs, including DoD 5105.21 V1-3, SECNAVINST 5510.30/36, ICD 704 or ICD 705
- Knowledge of ICD 705 1.5 Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities
- Ability to assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) with analyzing operations to determine functional and cross-functional security requirements
- Ability to be the active representative on sites where the SSO cannot be physically present
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Completion of the SSO Navy Special Security Officer Course or ICD 704 Personnel Security Course

- Bachelor's degree
