Concrete Production Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement production plans and schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including concrete mixer drivers, plant operators, and technicians.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Optimise production efficiency and resource utilisation while minimising waste.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ready mix concrete production, with a strong understanding of concrete materials and mix designs.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge of concrete production processes and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with staff at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and drive continuous improvement.
• Must be strong-willed and able to handle challenging situations with resilience and professionalism.
