About the Organization

The Organisation is a financial services institution with the objective of increasing access to finance for Ghanaian enterprises, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Our client also provides wholesale financing/lines of credit and partial credit guarantees to eligible financial institutions. The Compliance Officer would

  • Contribute to the developing and implementing of an effective compliance programme in adherence to both Regulatory and Organizational policies and procedures.
  • Be tasked with everything from developing company policies, creating metrics to help track compliance and performing compliance audits.
  • They must also continue studying state and federal laws related to their industry and ensure that the company conducts business according to new regulations that arise


Required Education and Experience Profile

  • 1 - 3 years’ post-graduation experience plus National Service in a similar role
  • A minimum of first degree in Law, Business Administration, Social Science, Psychology or related course
  • A member of a professional recognized professional body (ACCPA, CAMS, CCEP, CFCS, CCO certification or relevant professional qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of local and international compliance laws
  • Exceptional organization skills and a strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail, adaptable, able to manage pressure in a high performance, constantly evolving environment
