Community Lead: Drive the Movement for Mental Wellness

Position Overview

Are you a natural leader with a passion for community building and social impact? We are looking for a Community Lead to serve as the central heartbeat of our initiative. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between our diverse volunteer teams and our strategic goals, ensuring our digital platform reaches those who need it most across Ghana and West Africa. You will be the primary link between our operational groups and the founding team, turning ambitious plans into measurable impact.

Your Core Responsibilities

As the lead coordinator, you will oversee the synergy between Tech, Content, Data, and Partnership groups to ensure a cohesive mission. Your day-to-day will involve:

●     Team Coordination: Syncing with HR/Community Leads to manage volunteer workflows and ensure all roles (from UI designers to Partnership Scouts) are aligned with project milestones.

●     Outreach & Marketing Strategy: Planning and executing both virtual campaigns and physical outreach events in cities like Accra, Kumasi, and Koforidua to promote stigma-free support.

●     Client Advocacy: Monitoring backend user engagement and following up with community members to ensure they are receiving the intended support from our mood-tracking and counseling tools.

●     Strategic Reporting: Acting as the direct liaison to the two Founders, providing structured updates on progress, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing data-driven solutions.

Why Take the Lead?

●     High-Level Leadership: Gain unparalleled experience in health tech management, impact measurement, and remote team leadership.

●     Strategic Networking: Work directly with the Founders and engage with local startups, NGOs, and VC fellowships.

●     Flexible yet Impactful: A remote-first role (40 hours/week) with funding buffers available for physical outreach and travel.

●     Skill Expansion: Participate in exclusive sessions on AI ethics, DAO governance, and data-driven scaling for health projects.

Who We Are Looking For

We need a proactive communicator who thrives in dynamic, tech-forward environments.

●     Experience: 2+ years in community management, project coordination, or business development.

●     Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for tracking, excellent English and Twi communication, and a knack for organizing virtual support groups.

●     Mindset: A problem-solver who can navigate the economic and social pressures facing underserved communities with empathy.

●     Bonus: Prior experience in digital innovation or West African impact projects.
