Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Officer (Digital) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in communications or Journalism and be skilled in creating engaging content across various digital platforms. This role involves article writing, blogging, and crafting press release as well as managing social media accounts and developing effective digital strategies.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Write and publish articles, blogs, and press releases.
- Create visually appealing content using Canvas.
- Develop compelling email marketing campaigns.
Account Management:
- Manage social media accounts for clients and internal teams.
- Develop and implement social media strategy for various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Ensure internal accounts are verified and secure from hackers.
Social Media Strategy and Management:
- Create, curate and manage all published content (text, images, video) on social media channels.
- Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns.
- Monitor, measure and report on the performance of social media campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Hoot suite and Sprout Social.
- Engage with social media followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Identify trends and insights, recommending changes to social media strategies and tactics.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with our departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
- Ensure all social media contents aligns with brand guidelines and best practices.
Budget Management:
- Create and manage social media budgets for clients and internal accounts.
Trend Monitoring:
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitors.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in social media platforms and ensure maximum effectiveness of strategies.
Scheduling and Planning:
- Create and manage social media calendars, scheduling posts to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery.
- Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Prove experience in article writing, blogging and press release creation.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, particularly Canvas.
- Experience in email marketing and managing social media accounts.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Experience with social media campaigns and advertising.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Keen eye for details.
Salary Range: Ghc 2000.00 - Ghc 3500.00
