Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain accurate delinquent accounts information and records.
- Prepare and provide regular reports on debt collection activities and progress.
- Adhere to all state and federal collection laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely payment of debts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in collections or customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult customers and negotiate payment plans
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of state and federal collections laws and regulations (preferred)
