Job Purpose
The Product Manager – DC & Cloud is responsible for owning the Cloud and Data
Centre product portfolio, including revenue and product budget performance. The role
holder will be responsible for evaluating and delivering a differentiated cloud products
strategy that addresses market needs and offers growth opportunities for the business.
He/ She will drive commercial success and enable Sales Account Managers to achieve
product targets. This individual will ensure strong market positioning, competitive
differentiation, and sustained revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with technical depth and
excellent leadership ability to rally cross-functional teams around clear product goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Financial Accountability
Own the development and market growth of the Cloud & DC product, including
revenue targets, margins, and budget management.
Develop and execute product strategy, roadmap, and pricing models to achieve
growth objectives.
Build robust business cases for new products and enhancements to ensure
profitability and ROI.
Track performance against targets and implement corrective actions where
required.
2. Sales Enablement & Revenue Growth
Drive product revenue by leading and enabling Sales Account Managers to meet
product targets.
Translate product value propositions into clear sales plays, use cases, and
competitive positioning.
Conduct regular pipeline reviews focused on Cloud & DC portfolio performance.
Support key customer engagements, especially at enterprise and C-level
discussions.
Strong collaboration with other product manager to define product leverage and
bundles that will enhance market competitiveness, stickiness and wallet share
maximization.
3. Market & Portfolio Management
Define and manage the roadmap for Cloud solutions including Security, Virtual
Private Servers (VPS), Colocation, Hosting, Domain Services, and emerging
Cloud offerings.
Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis (local
and global).
Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and vendor relationships to localize and
strengthen offerings.
Continuously optimize the portfolio based on market demand and performance
data.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Technology, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, and Customer
Experience teams to ensure successful product lifecycle management.
Lead go-to-market planning and ensure strong launch execution.
Act as the single point of accountability for all Cloud & DC product matters
internally.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,
Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Product Management, preferably within Cloud,
Data Centre, or Telecom environments.
Demonstrated success managing product budgets and delivering revenue
growth.
Experience working with enterprise, B2B customers and public sector agencies.
