Job summary
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of assigned premises to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for staff, visitors, and clients.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Clean offices, restrooms, corridors, and common areas in accordance with cleaning schedules.
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of trash properly.
- Refill consumables such as soap, tissue, and hand towels.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
- Reliability, honesty, and professionalism.
- Basic communication skills.
- Basic education; ability to read and follow instructions is an advantage.
- Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required.
