Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Handle all customer payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area and complete other general cleaning duties.
- Assist in the preparation of daily deposits and financial reports.
- Manage the cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay informed on all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role involving cash handling and customer service.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
