Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area and complete other general cleaning duties.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily deposits and financial reports.
  • Manage the cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay informed on all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role involving cash handling and customer service.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of financial reporting and cash management practices.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
