Job Description/Requirements
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the client’s team to ensure messaging for social platforms are aligned with the client
- Produce content, headlines, and posts for social platforms
- Stay up to date on current events
- Provide ideas for content and campaigns
- Draft campaign content, including email and social media content
- Develop real-time social media content in response to political updates
- Provide community management support across social platforms in real-time
- Manage and maintain social media channels
Must-Haves
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms within the political space
- 2+ years working on political news and campaigns
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience writing content, scheduling posts and engaging with viewers
- Passion for writing and creative concepting with endless ideas to share
- Active on multiple Social Media channels and always connected
- Incredible attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- 4-Year College Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications
