Main Purpose of Position
In close co-operation with members of the Operations Department reduce customer complaints and ensure an appreciable service delivery. Ensure that customers receive written recommendations on the status of their security, recommendations such as upgrading their security set up and any areas of security concern (on a regular basis).
- Oversee all G4S customer contracts with on-site management and support from the entire operations team.
- Ensure that all commercial customers know the Branch Manager and have established lines of communications with you.
- Coaching and training of supervisory staff in the field on various security subjects such as access control, observation, crime awareness, public relations, personal hygiene and so on. Keep records.
- Ensure that guards assigned to sensitive sites receive extra coaching on security and the threat of terrorism and are aware on what to look for and countermeasures and reporting procedures.
- Reduce thefts and claims from customers. In the unlikely event, Incident Reports should be completed in three days and shared.
- Ensure guards are given annual leave. Ensure 100% proper uniform for all your guards at all times.
- Ensure after-hour visitations.
- Check the invoices for your top 20 customers checking for under or over invoicing.
- Maintain an On the Job Training Program and File for both Guards and Supervisors.
- Ensure an approved site specific procedure is available at all sites.
- Ensure all your sites have the appropriate site equipment.
- Maintain strict control over operational vehicles.Note every scratch and rectify.
