Sales is one of the most common functions across Ghana’s job market, yet it is often misunderstood. For some job seekers, sales is associated with cold calling, difficult targets, and pressure to sell. For others already working in sales, the demands of the role continue to evolve as customers become more informed, competition increases, and businesses look for stronger commercial performance.
At the same time, sales opportunities continue to emerge across industries including banking, FMCG, technology, telecommunications, insurance and retail. This creates an opportunity for people who can combine strong communication and customer engagement skills with a practical understanding of how sales works.
At Jobberman Ghana, we see this demand through the opportunities available on our platform. While sales vacancies continue to come through, many roles receive fewer applications than expected. This points to a wider opportunity: helping more people understand sales as a career, while giving those already in the profession the skills to perform more effectively.
Sales is a skill that can be learned and strengthened. That is why Jobberman Ghana is launching the Jobberman Sales Academy, a six-week accelerator designed to help participants develop practical sales skills, strengthen their professional capabilities, and prepare for opportunities across industries.

Building Practical Sales Skills
The Academy will bring together 50 participants for two sessions each week in a hybrid learning format, beginning 14th October 2026.
The programme covers the practical skills that influence sales performance — from consultative selling and customer conversations to pipeline management, objection handling, negotiation, closing and customer retention.
Participants will learn how to identify and qualify opportunities, manage their sales pipeline, use sales data and forecasting tools, navigate difficult customer conversations and build relationships that extend beyond a single transaction.
The Sales Academy is designed for people at different stages of their careers. Someone who has never considered sales can use the programme to build a foundation for entering the field. Someone already working in sales can strengthen their approach, develop new skills, and improve how they manage opportunities and customers.
Participants will also receive career coaching and CV support, helping them translate their learning into stronger professional profiles and prepare for relevant opportunities.
Those who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate and gain access to relevant sales job opportunities. Where available roles match a participant’s qualifications and demonstrated performance, they may be considered for placement.
An Opportunity for Individuals and Employers
The value of stronger sales skills extends beyond individual career development. For businesses, the capability of a sales team can directly influence how effectively it identifies opportunities, engages customers, and converts prospects.
The Sales Academy therefore also provides an opportunity for employers to invest in the development of their sales representatives and commercial teams. By strengthening skills in areas such as consultative selling, pipeline management, negotiation, and customer retention, businesses can help their teams approach sales with greater structure and effectiveness.
Professional Training, Tuition Waived
The original tuition fee for the six-week programme is GHS 4,200 per participant, but tuition has been fully waived for the 2026 cohort.
Selected participants will pay a GHS 300 commitment fee to secure their place. The fee is intended to encourage commitment to the full programme and completion of the six-week training.
