The journey of BGAT was inspired by threats posed to traditional treatment plants across the country by frequent system breakdown of its several moving parts, and its associated supply chain challenges for spare parts, hindering service quality and reliability.

BGAT sets out to transform water treatment landscape in Ghana and Africa with cutting-edge innovations in water treatment by developing a robust and efficient water treatment systems. One such facility being operated in Afuaman in the Ga West Municipal Assembly. BGAT seeks to improve community access to clean water complying with all service level standards, decreasing water-borne diseases in served communities, and supporting local economic growth.
