- Client Relationships:Â Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. Understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to tailor solutions that meet their unique requirements.
- Sales Operations:Â Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure. Implement effective sales processes and tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration:Â Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of initiatives.
- Market Analysis and Planning: Conducting market research, identifying new opportunities, and devising effective sales plans and tactics to capitalize on market trends.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation:Â Developing and managing the sales department's budget, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Demonstrated success in scaling sales and achieving revenue targets, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment. Experience in rapidly growing a customer base and driving substantial revenue growth is highly valuable.
- Strong experience in technology or SaaS sales, ideally within the tech startup ecosystem.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Strong strategic thinking and vision to develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with the startup's growth objectives. This includes an understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Ability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats, and being adaptable to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
