Job Summary

We are seeking a disciplined and vigilant Security Officer to protect company premises, control access points, and maintain safety across the Takoradi factory premises. The ideal candidate must be alert, physically fit, and able to enforce rules firmly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Man all entry and exit points, verifying credentials of staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular foot patrols around factory buildings, warehouses, and external areas.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activity immediately.
• Control vehicle movement and ensure proper parking within the factory.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, fires, or accidents.
• Provide first-line emergency response and preserve incident scenes.
• Enforce company safety rules and security procedures.
• Maintain daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Report security breaches, hazards, or irregularities to the supervisor.
• Support investigations and compliance checks when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of a year's experience in security or protective services.
• Basic education (SHS / WASSCE) or equivalent.
• Military, police, or security service background is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and conduct patrols.
• Good observation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic understanding of security equipment (CCTV, radios, scanners).
• High sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
