Job Summary

The Salesman with a Type C License will be responsible for promoting and selling our products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate and drive company vehicles for delivery and transportation purposes.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Actively seek out and engage potential customers to present, promote, and sell products.
  • Build and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Meet sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.


Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
  • Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and after-sales services.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and market conditions.


Vehicle Operation:

  • Safely operate and drive company vehicles (requiring a Type C license) for delivery and transportation of products.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the relevant department.


Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare and submit sales contracts and reports to the sales manager.
  • Maintain records of sales, delivery, and customer interactions.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.


Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute sales strategies.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a salesman or in a similar sales role.
  • Experience in driving commercial vehicles with a Type C license.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and CRM tools.


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid Type C driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record.


Work Environment:

  • Primarily works in the field, traveling to meet customers and deliver products.
  • May occasionally work in an office setting for meetings and administrative tasks.
  • Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry products and materials up to [weight limit] pounds.
