Job Summary
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of a Navy client for acquisition and sustainment management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT) program. You’ll collaborate with program leadership to manage cost, schedule, and performance to support Navy Information Technology (IT) systems using tools like Microsoft Excel to manage budgets and tracking information, Microsoft Project to manage schedules, Microsoft Word to develop contractual and other technical documents, and Microsoft PowerPoint to develop presentations and regular interactions with DoD IT stakeholders. Job Description/Requirements
Nice To Have:
- 8+ years of experience with DoD program or project management
- Experience with using Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of DoD SECNAV 5000 instructions
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:Â
- 3+ years of experience with supporting a Navy Systems Program Office, including NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or NAVAIR
- Experience with managing the cost, schedule, and performance of an ACAT I-IV or Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) program
- Experience with preparing briefings and reports for senior government executivesÂ
- Possession of excellent team-oriented and team-building skills
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Master's degree
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or Level III Program Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationÂ
