Job Summary
We are looking for individuals who can write, produce, and host IGN news videos and features. This contract role also has the potential to host sponsored campaigns and branded shoots. Attending in-person events like Comic-Con is also a possibility for this role. If available to attend, these events would consist of travel and live, on-stage hosting responsibilities. IGN will cover all travel expenses incurred from these events.

Job Description/Requirements
What You’ll Do:Â
- Produce and star in IGN news video content both VOD and live
- Track news trends across all platforms to inform video topics
- Expertly research relevant products and topics
- Write and annotate scripts for IGN’s flagship daily news shows and features
- Manage production timelines
- Publish accompanying copy for IGN articles
- Host branded segments and events, work with sales on video integrations
- Work with Social teams to create native content for all IGN Platforms
- If asked and available, travel to produce segments on the road at live events, trade shows, conventions, set visits, red carpets, field packages, and more
- Preference is to be located in Los Angeles and available to work within the IGN LA office, as needed
Job Requirements:
The Must-Haves:
- Deep knowledge of video games, movies, TV, comics, Social Media and pop culture
- Excellent conversational abilities
- Ability to work effectively and timely in fast paced environments
- On-camera and writing experience in TV / Film / Online Media Production
Not Required, but Helpful:
- A following, and contacts in the games and entertainment industries
- Teleprompter experience
- Live show production experience
- Voiceover experience
- Video editing experience
- Experience collaborating with content teams, producers, branded entertainment, social teams and more.
- Experience with branded entertainment
- 4-5 years of equivalent experience
