Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and dependable individual to serve as a Church Media Support primarily a lighting Operator during our church services and special events. In this role, your primary responsibility will be managing and operating stage lighting to create an atmosphere that enhances worship and engages the congregation. While lighting is the central focus, having additional skills in areas such as media editing, social media content creation, lyric projection, or visual presentations will be considered a valuable plus. The ideal candidate should be attentive, willing to learn, and passionate about using their gifts to serve in a worship environment.

Job Description/Requirements
- Operate and manage stage lighting systems during services and events to create dynamic, worshipful atmosphere.
- Prepare, program, and test lighting cues in advance based on direction from the worship leader or media supervisor.
- Troubleshoot lighting equipment and ensure all systems are functioning properly before and during services.
- Support media-related tasks such as video editing, graphics, and photography as needed.
- Assist with social media content creation and posting to strengthen the church’s online presence.
- Step in to operate lyrics or scripture projection when required.
- Coordinate with worship leaders, pastors, and media team members to deliver seamless and engaging services.
- Maintain consistency with church branding and excellence in all visual output.
- Archive and organize lighting and media projects for future reference.
- Prior experience with lighting systems (stage or live production) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of media editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or similar) and presentation software (ProPresenter, PowerPoint) is helpful.
- Strong attention to detail, especially with timing, visual clarity, and transitions.
- Willingness to learn new technology, software, and systems on the job.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with worship leaders and the media team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to stay focused during live services.
- A heart for worship and a desire to serve with excellence.
