Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Shama for a Caregiver. The Caregiver will be responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to clients, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and feeding. Additional responsibilities may include administering medications, monitoring health, offering emotional support, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure the well-being of clients. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and complying with health and safety standards will also be essential parts of this role.
Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Knowledge of basic healthcare practices, such as administering medications and monitoring health
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for providing emotional support and discussing care plans with the appropriate parties
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining records and schedules
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and family members
• Patience, compassion, and empathy in handling the needs of clients
• Possession of relevant certifications or training in caregiving or healthcare is highly beneficial
• Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role is an advantage
