Jobberman Ghana has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Youth Opportunity & Transformation in Africa(YOTA) in Accra, with the main objective of placing trained candidates from YOTA – Youth Opportunity & Transformation in Africa into job opportunities and also collaborating with YOTA in organizing student career events, provide career and job search support to students and young graduates in Ghana.
Hilda Nimo-Tieku CEO of Jobberman Ghana commenting at the brief signing ceremony at the YOTA office in Accra said; ” This collaboration forms part of our mission as a business to work with strategic organizations like YOTA that are aligned with our mission to develop and connect great African talent to work opportunities”.
Emmanuel Edudzie, Founder & Executive Director of YOTA expressed his excitement and readiness of his team to collaborate and deepen the relationship between the two organizations.
He acknowledged the Jobberman Ghana team for their support in previous youth empowerment programs; including the week long Vibe Check employability summit organized by YOTA in March this year which climaxed with a career fair at the University of Ghana, Legon.
“This is the beginning of what we envisage as an organization focused on equipping the youth with relevant skills for the job market. We are happy to collaborate with Jobberman because this falls in line with our mission to contribute to youth employment and entrepreneurship”, Emmanuel said.
Present at the brief ceremony were some employees of both organizations, Jemima Ashietey, Campaign Manager, Jobberman Ghana, Genevieve Amponsah, Community Marketer, Jobberman, Eric Saforo, Head of Skills and Innovation, YOTA, Prosper Tornyi, Skills Hub Curator, YOTA and some staff of YOTA.
