Job Description/Requirements

Warehouse Supervisor

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitors stock of raw and packaging materials and alerts Procurement to replenish stock when necessary to avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Monitors stock of finished products at all upcountry locations, and replenishes accordingly to avoid shortages and overstocking
  • Plans and schedules offloading of raw and packaging materials to avoid delays in offloading and demurrage charges
  • Plan and schedule the loading of finished products accordingly to avoid unnecessary overtime hours
  • Supervises loading and offloading to ensure the right quantities are delivered and in the right condition
  • Identifies areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
  • Ensures stocks are properly stored under the right conditions
  • Ensures and enforces good safety measures, housekeeping practices, and warehouse practices are adhered to at all times

Key Performance Areas

  • Supervise and ensure 100% fulfillment of all factories’ (Dairy and Culinary) and Sales requests by close of business daily
  • Prepare and circulate stock reports to all stakeholders by 10 am daily/weekly
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the FEFO (FIRST to EXPIRE, FIRST OUT) principle at all times, to reduce wastages due to expiry
  • Reconcile system and physical stock, explain and report all stock discrepancies to the Warehouse Coordinator by 12 pm daily/weekly
  • Ensure all stock movements are duly posted in the ERP system (NAVISION) at all times
  • Not more than 1 hour of production downtime due to delays in supplies
  • 100% accuracy in stock record maintenance
  • Ensure 100% tagging of all raw materials and finished goods received into the warehouse with the appropriate information to facilitate compliance with FEFO
  • Submit weekly reports on the age of all stocks in the warehouse to the Warehouse Coordinator to update in the necessary systems and reports
  • Zero demurrage payment per quarter
  • Compensable factors

I. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSA) Required

  • Excellent ability to plan and organize effectively and efficiently
  • Good computer knowledge- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Database Software, etc
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, motivate control, and delegate effectively
  • Capable of working under sustained pressure to produce results and must also be capable of working for long hours without supervision

Academic Qualifications And Experience Required

Supply Chain Management/Social Sciences

3-4 years experience
