Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods (raw materials and finished products). The ideal candidate will ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising staff, managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and maintaining a safe and compliant compliant work environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all warehouse processes — from inventory control to delivery — align with company objectives and customer satisfaction standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations and Inventory Control
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of herbal products.
- Ensure stock records are accurate and up to date using both manual and digital inventory systems.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile variances with the Accounts Department.
- Maintain proper segregation and labeling of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper documentation of stock movements, deliveries, and returns.
Logistics and Dispatch Management
- Coordinate with the Sales & Distribution teams to plan daily deliveries to outlets, distributors, and customers.
- Ensure timely loading and dispatch of products using company vans and logistics partners.
- Monitor delivery schedules, vehicle utilization, and fuel efficiency.
- Track product movements and ensure all goods are delivered accurately and on time.
Staff Supervision and Performance Management
- Supervise warehouse personnel, including storekeepers, loaders, and dispatch staff.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Conduct on-the-job training to improve efficiency and safety awareness among staff.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and discipline within the warehouse team.
Stock and Record Management
- Work closely with the Accounts and HR Departments to maintain transparent and auditable stock records.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports (stock levels, deliveries, variances, etc.).
- Support both internal and external audit exercises by providing accurate inventory data and documentation
- Identify obsolete, expired, or damaged products and ensure proper documentation and disposal according to company policy.
Safety, Security, and Compliance
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety and hygiene standards, especially for herbal products and packaging materials.
- Ensure compliance with Ghana Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) and Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) requirements regarding product handling and documentation.
- Maintain proper temperature, ventilation, and cleanliness to protect product integrity.
- Safeguard company property against theft, pilferage, and damage through effective control systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics management — preferably in a manufacturing, herbal, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of stock control, dispatch coordination, and warehouse systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
