Job Summary

We are looking for a competent, motivated Telemarketer to join our team. You'll be responsible for researching prospective clients, cold call these prospects over the phone to pitch Edves products and services to them and generate demo/meetings for sales executives to close the sale.

  • Minimum Qualification: OND
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Cold call prospective customers using a given phone directory to educate them on Edves products
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
  • Be responsible for crafting scripts for prospect engagement on Phone, Email responses, WhatsApp
  • Persuade prospective customers to buy by demonstrating how Edves products meet their needs
  • Keep records of calls and record useful information
  • Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the company’s CRM. Ensure all communications are logged, information is accurate and appropriate documents are attached
  • Segment leads for proper communication
  • Work with Sales team to visit schools for presentation and deal closing
  • Give presentation/demo on Edves products

  • Must be Tech Savvy
  • Very good phone skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good negotiation skill
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Passionate, driven, self-confident and focused
  • Strong interest in education technology
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and work independently
  • Ability to think strategically and add value to existing processes
  • Prior experience in the education sector is an advantage
  • Prior experience in telesales is an advantage.
