Every year approximately 1500 new students join one of our reputable institutions, making BCIE the fastest growing UK-based agency. We offer students a complete service including counseling, applications, getting speedy offers, applying for accommodation and visa application. BCIE is looking to employ a Student Recruitment Counselor within Accra environs to join our team of experts in Counseling, Recruitment and Visa Guidance to achieve the Company’s set Objectives.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Job Description/Requirements


  • Provide Career and academic counselling to prospective students
  • Counselling students with admission requirements as per their eligibility
  • Ensure Students in our database are contacted by phone call, SMS, email and invited to school visits, seminars etc must ensure all such visits are very productive
  • Take charge of leads and follow up activities to ensure high application to student enrollment
  • Responsible for the entire student admission cycle: Own lead generation, Prospecting, follow-ups, Counselling, applications to schools and Visa application
  • Must champion Telephone campaign exercise for the company, scout around for local database of Students & Corporate Institution and sell the Company Services
  • Establish and Maintain links with Alumni’s
  • Building strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with schools, Universities, Corporate institutions identified as the source for student recruitment

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Degree or Associate's degree in Counseling is required
  • Minimum of 3 years professional counseling experience, preferably in an educational field
  • Experience in Sales/Marketing/Student Recruitment and Career Counseling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to work effectively and consultatively in a teamwork environment
  • Knowledge of the UK, AUSTRALIA, CANADA AND U.S.A education systems and career pathways for students
  • Ability to develop and maintain an excellent working relationship and customer-focused with a passion to assist students
  • Result-oriented individual with a strong track record in international student recruitment
  • Great leadership skills
