Job Summary
A Special Education Teacher is an educator who specializes in teaching children with learning disabilities. Special Education teachers develop and provide tailored teaching plans to meet the learning needs of students. The New Horizon Special School in Accra, Ghana would like to hire a Special Education teacher to start with us as soon as possible

Job Description/Requirements
- Assess children’s learning abilities and adapt the existing curriculum to accommodate the individual learning needs of each student.
- Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed.
- · Assesses student progress and determines the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional techniques.
- Collaborate with the support staff (Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist) to help children develop and socialize.
Requirements
- · Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
- A bachelor’s degree in Education; Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus
- A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality.
