Responsibilities:

• Scrape natural language text from given sources
• Clean and preprocess text data that will be used for downstream analysis and visualizations
• Research and develop features and metrics that will provide useful business insight.
• Enrich text data with external datasets that could add valuable information for analytics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in NLP or similar role
• Proven experience with Python and SQL
• Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation
• Strong communication Skills
• An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar field.
• The candidate should be proficient in Python and SQL(preferably MySQL)
• NLP Engineer responsibilities include text preprocessing and transforming natural language data into useful features to be used for analytics, ML, and visualizations.
• Predictive modeling is a plus
