Job Summary

A Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring a company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive audience engagement. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and expertise in various social media platforms.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging and brand-consistent content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Community Engagement: Actively monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, addressing inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, traffic, and conversions, and prepare performance reports for stakeholders.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and platform updates to keep strategies innovative and effective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to align social media initiatives with broader campaigns.
  • Brand Advocacy: Ensure all social media content aligns with the company’s voice, tone, and brand identity.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Expertise in managing platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking with an eye for design and content aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
