Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns to enhance our reach and impact across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
• Create engaging and shareable content that aligns with our brand image and resonates with our target audience.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of captivating posts, videos, and other media.
• Monitor social media trends, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to evaluate the success of campaigns.
• Foster meaningful connections with fans by engaging with their comments, inquiries, and messages on social media channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate promotional efforts and marketing initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest industry developments, emerging platforms, and digital marketing techniques to maximize our brand’s online visibility.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for content optimization.
• Excellent creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and develop engaging content.
• Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software, or be willing to learn.
• Strong organizational project management abilities, including multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members, and external partners.
• Passion for music and entertainment, a keen eye for identifying trends and emerging artists.

Desirables:

• Experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within an entertainment industry.
• Educated to degree standard in a relevant subject area.
• Familiarity with digital advertising and paid social media campaigns.
• Graphic design skills and knowledge of photo and video editing software.
• Understanding of SEO principles and the ability to optimize social media content for search visibility.
• Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property laws as they relate to social media marketing in the entertainment industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network and build relationships with industry professionals.
