Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Become a knowledge expert - teammates will be looking up to you as a resource for answering questions and guidance when testing
- Work closely with the team to identify and reproduce bugs/provide feedback for improvements during the development of new features, know when to flag issues/bottlenecks early on to the producers
- Write detailed and thorough test suites to test different features in the game, occasionally will be asked to review test suites written by peers to ensure that teammates are also upholding the standard of quality
- Log new bugs/update existing tickets on JIRA
- Write/update various documentation
- Support the QA lead with hiring, onboarding of new QA members
- Participate in public beta playtests + assisting/participating in filming for marketing shoots
Requirements/Skills
- Experience as a QA tester at a game studio/software company (5+ years as a tester would make you an ideal candidate)
- Able to work well in a fast paced team environment - able to pick up skills and games quickly
- Strong problem solving/critical thinking skills
- Experience with JIRA and test management tools (TestRail, Testpad, Zephyr, etc)
- Nice-to-Haves
- Diploma/degree in a game design/software technology field
- Experience testing in VR
- Experience testing multiplayer games
- Experiencing with LiveOp games
- Experience with casino games (Texas hold’em, blackjack, roulette, craps)
