Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and scale the Payroll Operations team.
- Provide them with guidance and mentorship and hold them accountable.
- Act as a partner, enabler and coach to people leaders throughout the organization.
- You will own the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country specific government regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on all payroll related matters.
- In collaboration with the Senior Payroll Leadership team, identify and implement strategies and initiatives aligned with business values and objectives to support the payroll organisation in achieving its goals.
- Act as a thought partner and soundboard to People Managers in organisational planning and team management.
- Drive organizational change within payroll, leverage data and analytics to evolve programs, and ensure that Remote is providing world-class payroll experiences.
- Exhibit a growth mindset with a high level of emotional intelligence in daily work and your own professional development.
- Be up to date with various international payroll laws / regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators and SLA metrics for the team.
