Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and execution of the business strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
2. Oversee the operational setup, including fleet management, delivery scheduling, and optimization of delivery routes.
3. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing delivery and operations team.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage business risks effectively.
6. Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and the implementation of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Develop financial models, manage budgets, and, if needed, lead fundraising efforts to support the company's growth.
Qualifications:
1.Startup Experience: Proven hands-on experience in setting up and scaling startups, ideally within the logistics, delivery, or e-commerce sector.
2.Strategic Vision: Expertise in developing strategic business plans, identifying market opportunities, and positioning the company competitively within the industry.
3. Operational Expertise: In-depth knowledge of managing daily operations, logistics, and supply chain management, with a focus on establishing and optimizing delivery processes
from scratch.
4. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and fundraising, crucial for guiding the startup towards sustainable growth.
5. Leadership and Team Building: Demonstrated experience in recruiting, leading, and motivating teams, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
6. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in technology platforms relevant to delivery and logistics management, including the ability to recruit and onboard vendors efficiently.
7. Customer Focused: Strong customer service acumen with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing complaints, and fostering long-term customer
relationships.
8. Networking Skills: Well-connected within the Accra business community, with established relationships with suppliers, vendors, and potential business partners.
