Senior Electrical Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled servicing of mobile equipment in a safe manner and follow company documentation.
  
• Utilize skill and experience to create minimum downtime on machinery and maximize productivity.
• Ensure accurate recording of maintenance data and specifications is achieved.
• Read and interpret Service and Spare parts manuals
• Report all equipment faults
• Ensure site and maintenance procedures are maintained.
• Assist with training of new employees to increase skill levels on site

Qualification Required:

• Mechanical Technician part II, III/HND
• Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with previous experience in carrying out auto electrical repairs on excavators primarily SANY ,Doosan and CAT.
• Strong background working with mobile mining equipment
• Minimum of 6 years experience
• Competent with auto electrics, hydraulic circuits and diesel engine maintenance
• Willingness to learn to improve skills and gain further experience with mobile equipment
  
• A basic understanding of mining environment and equipment utilized
• Good supervisory, analytical and organizational skills
• Must be a good and effective communicator
• Ability to follow instructions in accordance with EAG's protocols, standards, and policies
