Job Summary
We are recruiting for reliable, responsible and organized individuals (with great performing skills) to join our team of science instructors and present our science programmes to children in Accra (and potentially beyond). Our programmes include after school clubs , science camps, science shows and science parties. We are looking for individuals to join our team of energetic, enthusiastic science instructors to work with us on a part time bases.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Terrific Scientific Busters is a start-up that is expanding very quickly. Our vision is to share with children (4-12 years) the fun and wonders of science through practical and fun learning.
Candidates must be inspirational, dynamic and have a keen interest in promoting fun, stimulating learning for children. You will be responsible for facilitating hands-on, interactive programmes for children of primary school age.
Essential Requirements:
- A passion for working with children
- Acting skills
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Good sense of humour (to win the interest from children)
- Confident presentational manner
- Excellent spoken English
- Knowledge of basic science
- Have some experience of working with children aged between 4 -12 (in entertainment, education, sporting setting etc )
- Impeccable punctuation and reliability, excellent time management is crucial in this role and will not be compromised.
Desirable
- Scientific background (not essential as full training will be provided)
