A manufacturing company in Accra is looking for a Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects to join their team. The individual must be a professional who originates and manages relationships with customers.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers and promote brand name
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs and ensure payment is made with the agreed period
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients and reconciling clients’ accounts to ensure the accounts are balanced and up to date
- Properly document all sales transactions of clients and maintain accurate client records
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability via phone calls and messages.
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients. Ensure our wide range of products are listed/marketed to the clients.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, market trends and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Ensure clients’ invoices are properly generated, items supplied correspond to the invoices generated and delivered within the agreed time frame
Requirements and Skills
- Proven 2 – 10 years work experience as a Sales Representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
