Job Summary
The Sales Manager for Industry Solutions and Projects will lead CHINT Global’s strategic growth in Mining, Utilities, and Building Construction sectors, with a key focus on developing industry partnerships, fostering panel builder development, and integrating CHINT’s diverse product portfolio into tailored solutions for clients. The role will drive business expansion, ensure seamless project execution, and strengthen CHINT’s position as a leader in the electrical solutions market.
Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Mining, Utilities, and Building Construction sectors.
- Incorporate panel builder development into the overall strategy to expand CHINT’s product application across industries.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive the integration of CHINT’s product portfolio (e.g., low voltage products, automation solutions, and energy management systems) into client projects.
Development of Panel Builders
- Identify and onboard potential panel builders to create a robust ecosystem for CHINT solutions.
- Collaborate with panel builders to design and deliver customized solutions for industrial and commercial projects.
- Provide training, technical support, and resources to enhance the capabilities of panel builders in Ghana.
- Establish long-term partnerships and monitor panel builders’ performance to ensure alignment with CHINT’s standards.
Business Development
- Build and nurture relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and project owners in target sectors.
- Identify and pursue high-value projects in Mining, Utilities, and Building Construction industries.
- Develop proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.
- Expand CHINT’s footprint by promoting its integrated solutions to untapped markets.
Integrated Product Solutions
- Lead the adoption of CHINT’s entire product suite across projects, including but not limited to: Low Voltage and Medium Voltage equipment, Solar and renewable energy solutions, Smart energy management systems, Automation and control solutions
- Provide technical recommendations and ensure optimal product integration for customer projects.
- Collaborate with the product and technical teams to customize solutions that meet specific project requirements.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Address client needs promptly and provide innovative solutions for technical and commercial challenges.
- Maintain long-term relationships by ensuring exceptional after-sales support and service.
Project and Sales Performance Management
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to project delivery and after-sales support.
- Track project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Monitor sales performance and project execution to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Technical Training and Team Collaboration
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations for clients.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical, and supply chain, to deliver projects efficiently.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and regulations to keep CHINT’s offerings competitive.
Reporting and Metrics Analysis
- Develop and submit sales forecasts, project progress reports, and market analysis to senior management.
- Measure and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales, panel builder development, and product integration.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications / This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Below
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- An MBA in Marketing or Sales related program from a reputable school will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, business development, or project management in the Mining, Utilities, or Building Construction sectors.
- Experience in panel builder development or managing integrated product portfolios is a strong advantage.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical systems and integrated solutions.
- Proven track record of developing business partnerships and managing large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Certifications: Professional License in Project Management will be a good advantage.
