Job Summary

We are seeking ambitious and results-driven Sales Executives to drive growth and expand our market share within Ghana’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The Sales Executive will play a vital role in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets across both modern and traditional trade channels. This role requires strong market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver results in a competitive environment.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, including supermarkets, distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, with a focus on driving high-volume sales.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor sales performance, gather competitive intelligence, and identify market trends.
  • Present and promote company products effectively, highlighting their value proposition to different customer segments.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer engagement.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of an HND/Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field (a university degree is an advantage).
  • 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG industry in Ghana.
  • Strong understanding of Ghana’s retail landscape, including modern trade (supermarkets, malls) and traditional trade (wholesalers, markets, kiosks).
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
