Restaurant/Cafe Manager

We are searching for a committed, passionate, proactive manager who would enjoys work in fun diverse environment in Tema 25. The manager will promote and grow the business, hire and train staff, and ensure that customers are receiving excellent customer service. Candidate will manage our social media platforms, manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed,  and set business objectives to increase sales and maximize profit.

Responsibilities:

• Must know how to cook or willing to learn how to make the food we serve to our customers
• Negotiate supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals
• Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to patrons.
• Creating schedules to ensure cafe is well staffed at all times
• Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
• Managing all our social media platforms
• Planning and taking part in promotional events
• Maintaining a friendly,  clean and safe atmosphere for customers

Requirements:

• High school Diploma / HND/ BSc Hospitality Management
• A minimum of 2 years experience in Restaurant or management 
• Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
• Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
• Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays shifts.
• Ability to execute tasks with very minimal instructions
• MUST LIVE CLOSE PROXIMITY TO TEMA COMMUNITY 25
