Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking Technical and Feasibility Studies Including Site Investigations and Engineering Reports
  • Using A Range of Computer Software for Developing Detailed Designs
  • Evaluate Progress and Prepare Detailed Reports
  • Liaising With Clients and A Variety of Professionals Including Architects.
  • Compiling Job Specs and Supervising Tendering Procedures
  • Managing Budgets and Project Resources
  • Prepare Progress and other Reports and Attend Meetings
  • Ensuring Projects Run Smoothly and Structures Are Completed Within Budget And On Time.
  • Traveling From The Office To Various Sites As Required.
  • Ensure Adherence To All Health and Safety Standards And Report Issues.
  • Ability To Work With Little or No Supervision



Qualification and Requirments:

  • Minimum BSc. Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics or Construction Management
  • 4 years with Consulting Firm in the Office.


Other Requirements

  • Reviewing Construction Plans and Prepare Quantity Requirements.
  • Preparing Reports, Analyses, Contracts, Budgets, Risk Assessment, and Other Documents.
  • Advising Managers and Clients on Improvements and New Strategies.
  • Documenting Any Changes in Design and Updating Budgets.
  • Establishing And Maintaining Professional Relationships With External And Internal Stakeholders.
  • Traveling From The Office To Various Sites As Required.
  • Prepare Tender Documents, Contracts, Budgets, Bills Of Quantities And Other Documentations.
  • Track Changes to Designs and/or Construction Work and Adjust Budget Projections Accordingly.
  • Measure and Value Work done on Site for Certification.
  • Liaise with Client and Other Construction Professionals, Such As Site Managers, Project Managers and Site Engineers.
  • Prepare Progress and other Reports and Attend Meetings.
  • Ability To Work with Little or No Supervision.
