Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management / cross functional teams to problem-solve, develop, improve, report out, and maintain site quality systems, including electronic quality software systems.
- Support 3rd party certification audits and customer Quality System audits (LPA, IATF16949, etc…) to meet required certifications, as needed.
- Provide administrative support to designated quality systems (ie. LPA, document control, etc…), as needed.
- Support Quality Systems goals, activities, and initiatives, as needed.
- Develop and implement measures to ensure achievement of overall company goals.
- Travel to support the facility, as needed.
- Any additional duties to be assigned, as needed.
Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.
- Strong background with Quality Management Systems, specifically IATF 16949. Must have a solid understanding of continuous improvement methods, problem-solving techniques, audit principles, and change management processes.
- Understanding of industry core tools (APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA)
- Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, CMM, Vision Systems, and other measuring equipment. (Preferably experience in automotive manufacturing environment)
- Quality Systems auditing experience and auditor certification is preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
