Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and draw up a production schedule.
- Decide in consultation with Management on resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
- Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
- Set the quality standards
- Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed in consultation with Management.
- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control program
- Organize the repair of any damaged equipment
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Ensure orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met.
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
- Collate and analyze data, putting together production reports for factory managers.
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
Job Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor and above.
2. Major: Business Management
3. Professional Qualification : Professional Certification in the adverstisied field will be an added advantage.
4. Years of work experience: 6 years working experience and above.
5. Professional Knowledge: Team development, Production Management, Planning and Implementation, Practical Experience in the Manufacturing Sector.
6. Professional Skills: Attention to details to ensure high levels of quality, a result driven approach to work, Customer service, and People Management amongst others.
7. Key Abilities: Excellent in negotiation and presentation, analytical ability, ability to make immediate response, executive ability. Coordinating the activities of the entire department.
8. Key Personality: Honest and upright, rational and rigorous.
