Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Exciting new opportunities have arisen across North Wales to be part of the Informatics team seeking to improve health and deliver excellent care through digitization.
  • The Digital Health Record (DHR) Project is creating a single digital place for the acute patient record, supporting integration with local and national systems in Wales and beyond.
  • Working with Health Records and the DHR Project Team, will be responsible for providing an essential support service in the continuing care of patients. 
  • The role of Patient Records Compliance and Assurance Officer is to actively promote the vision of the Digital Health Records (DHR) future and support the delivery of modernization plans. This will require the post holder to support with the delivery of the DHR and the Health Records Operational Plan.
  • The successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience of working with Microsoft packages, leading and negotiating and investigative skills. These will be required to provide specialist training and support to departmental colleagues and maintain regular communications.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.


Requirements:

  • High standard of education or equivalent experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Experience working with Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in leading and negotiating a team
