Job Description/Requirements

Greenage is a farm service center located in Assin Fosu in the central region. Its primary objective is to bridge the service gaps within the oil palm value chain. Greenage supports smallholder farmers to maximize their farm capacities and improve their yield gains. Additionally, Greenage facilitates the supply of raw material (Fresh Fruit Bunch) to local mills and oil processing companies. 

Greenage is looking to hire young, dynamic, goal oriented, and highly results driven individuals to take up the role of Operations Manager and accounts and Administrative Officer.  

 

Operations Manager. 

Responsible for the day to day running of the Farm Service Centre. He/she is the lead for bringing all Farm services to the doorstep of farmers within the community.


Specific roles include:

a.     Conduct data-driven analysis periodically to support and make recommendations to improve business and shape the company's strategy.

b.     Directs the work of the organization, providing administrative and technical management necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit

c.     Supports activities within the community’s agriculture sector by reviewing and analyzing data, developing strategies, analytical models, and methodologies, providing assistance and advice on business development issues; 

d.     Develops, oversees, manages, and evaluates agricultural development policies and program activities that can profitably engage with the Farm Service Centre

e.     Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to ensure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis

f.      Identify opportunities to drive growth and customer engagement

g.     Identify and take on ad hoc strategic projects and execute cross-functional operational initiatives.

h.     Submit weekly updates to the immediate supervisor and four (4) quarterly report on the overall performance of Farm Service Centre

i.      Any other duties assigned by direct supervisor 


Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree in Agribusiness, Marketing or Business Administration.


Minimum Working Experience: 2 years post national service 


Language: Ability to speak Ghanaian languages: Twi, Fanti 


IT Requirements – Intermediate (ability to efficiently use Microsoft office suite)
