Job Description

Responsibilities & Previous experience

  • Candidate must have considerable knowledge of 2G,3G, 4G technologies.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience on 2G,3G, and LTE commissioning/integration on field level.
  • Aware of Huawei tools for scripts and integrations (i.e. LMT, U2000, etc.)
  • Perform/support new network node integrations and acceptance.
  • Experience on Huawei equipment is a must & multi-vendor is an added advantage.
  • Must be hands-on experience on Huawei Node (BBU, RRU & RRN).
  • Daily operations tasks like alarm rectification, traffic monitoring, KPI & report analysis, customer complaint resolution.
  • Basic understanding of telecom call flows & its network architecture.
  • Actively participate in RAN & CS/PS network elements acceptance test for handover between delivery and MS.
  • Perform site configuration data for Huawei BSCs & RNCs.
  • Physical and Parameter Optimization of GSM/WCDMA RF KPIs.
  • Performance Analysis of Voice and Data KPIs includes CSSR, DCR, Soft/Softer Handover, SD Drop, TCH Drop, IUR Handover, IRAT, HS Throughput, UL RSSI in 3G.
  • Performing Power settings, Antenna configurations, PCI checks, Azimuth, Hand over parameters prior to the Drive test.
  • Perform UMTS Huawei network design, planning & optimization activities.
  • Responsible to fetch RF KPI and report preparation & generation.
  • Basic understanding of CS/PS core elements (i.e. MSS, MGW, SGSN/MME, GGSN) will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of telecom trace analyzer (i.e. SS7 protocol analyzer, Wireshark etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of IP routing & switching protocol (i.e. OSPF, BGP, MPLS) is must.
  • Aware of telecom billing process including CDR (Call Detail Record), Online charging system (OCS), Offline charging system (OFCS), Rating process, Huawei Mediation, VDS, TAP files, OOTB file format.
  • Must be strong in troubleshooting and fixing the problem.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Email, Excel, Word, Access).
  • Must be a good team player in a challenging environment.
  • Analytical skills like logical thinking, problem-solving & handling assignments are mandatory.
  • Fluency in the English language oral and written communication skills are a must.
  • Willing to relocate or travel to anywhere globally as per the project requirements.
  • Datacenter cabling Network & Power
  • Understanding of basic data center equipment such as fire alarm system, humidity control, cooling, power measurements, CCTV, BMS, Access management, etc.
  • Infrastructure monitoring of services being offered to customers based on the defined/Agreed SLAs through the IT service management systems.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL framework
  • Incident, Problem, Change management, RCA, vendor management process handling
  • Experience: At least 6-7 years of experience in the telecom/data center industry
  • Qualification: B.E./B. Tech
