●    Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, and interconnects for VAS platforms.

●    Deploy and manage network devices: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless appliances, etc.

●    Implement network segmentation, VLANs, QoS policies, and routing strategies for optimal performance.

●    Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SNAT/DNAT, routing tables, and BGP/OSPF configurations.

2. Telecom & VAS Infrastructure Support

●    Provide network connectivity and routing for platforms such as SMSC, USSD, IVR, MMSC, PRS, VMS, Short Codes, and SIP-based voice services.

●    Monitor and optimize network paths for SMPP, HTTP/REST APIs, SIP signaling, RTP media, and other VAS protocols.

●    Troubleshoot interconnect link issues between MNOs, aggregators, and internal platforms.

3. Network Security & Compliance

●    Implement and manage firewall rules, IPS/IDS policies, VPN tunnels, and security hardening.

●    Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits.

●    Ensure compliance with regulatory and telecom security requirements (NCA, ISO, PCI where applicable).

4. Monitoring, Performance & Incident Management

●    Set up monitoring dashboards (Grafana, Zabbix, Prometheus, SolarWinds, etc.) for proactive detection of network anomalies.

●    Track network uptime, latency, throughput, packet loss, and jitter metrics.

●    Respond to incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and document permanent fixes.

●    Improve reliability for critical VAS connections with redundancy, failover, and HA implementations.

5. Collaboration & Documentation

●    Work closely with DevOps, TechOps, and Product teams to support deployments and feature releases.

●    Manage vendor relations with ISPs, fiber providers, and technology partners.

●    Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configuration documentation, and SOPs.
